Two new Cheshire Sportives entered

A good friend sent me a link to a list of events by SiEntires and two of them stood out as ones I would like to do:

Cheshire Mini Sportive – 19th February 2017

A route of 60 miles round the lanes of Cheshire, starting and ending in Poynton. The route is relatively flat and is designed by experienced club riders so should be really good. I’m hoping this will be a nice easy ride to kick start my new season of cycling events.

Jodrell Bank Classic Cyclosportive – 19th March 2017

An 80 mile route around the Cheshire lanes, passing the famous Jodrell Bank telescope along the way and including the Pott Shrigley climb along the route.

I’ve just entered both of them and am really looking forward to getting back into Sportives and the challenge of the longer and tougher Jodrell Bank route.
